When researchers set out to study the habits of selfie-takers on social media, no amount of overestimation could have prepared them for the high opinions people seem to have of themselves online.
Does having more women in the social and personality psychology field translate into more high-impact publications by women, more citations of these articles, and more awards received by women?
Do children have a more consistent sense of fairness than adults? Or is the aversion to getting less more deeply rooted in development than the aversion to getting more?
SPSP seeks to provide small grants to support personality and social psychological research conferences. Conference support will assist SPSP members in their efforts to develop and host successful conferences relevant to the personality and social psychology field.
This year at SPSP's 17th Annual Convention we asked attendees "Why Personality and Social Psychology?" We received some amazing responses. Check back here each month to read attendee thoughts on why personality and social psychology is so vital and worth exploring.
